Welcome to the SGV Lawyer Referral ServiceThe San Gabriel Valley Lawyer Referral Service is a non-profit public service organization certified by the State Bar of California to provide lawyer referrals to the public. More than 100 attorneys are currently available through the service.

Your first consultation with an attorney will be $40 for up to one-half hour. In cases of Personal Injury, Social Security, Workers' Compensation, Bankruptcy or Probate, there will be no charge for the first conference.

What are the ABA Standards for Lawyer Referral?

In 1989 the American Bar Association formulated and adopted Rules for the operation of public service lawyer referral programs. The overriding concern of the Rules is consumer protection.
